As an outdoor adventure blogger who has explored the Swiss Alps extensively, my family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Appenzeller Huus Bären. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a super comfy and cozy atmosphere that immediately felt like a home away from home. The scent of wood and nature enveloped us, adding to the charm of the place.The staff's warm and attentive demeanor made us feel instantly welcome. They even prepared a special bed and bowl for our dog, which was a lovely touch. The family-friendly amenities, such as day backpacks for hikes and the charming fireplace, added to our overall experience.Our time at the hotel was enhanced by the delicious food options, especially the traditional cuisine in the Tavern and the exquisite dishes in the Haute-Cuisine restaurant. The breakfast spread with local flavors was a hit with the entire family.During our stay, we explored the surrounding area and took advantage of the nearby winter hiking trails. The opportunity to play tennis at the sports facility added a fun element to our trip.our experience at Appenzeller Huus Bären surpassed our expectations. The inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with fantastic amenities, made it a memorable family vacation.
